Go USA!!

We have been watching the World Cup at our house and have had a lot of fun cheering on our team. We always make sure that Mason wears his US Men's National Team shirt whenever they are playing. Our tie against Portugal was disappointing, and we need to beat the very difficult German team. But we believe that we can win! Go USA!

Russell Family Reunion

We drove to Lava Hot Springs this weekend to go to the Russell/Wilmore family reunion. Grandma and Grandpa Russell grew up in Lava, so the reunions are often held there and we always have a great time! There is so much to do in that little town, and it's always fun to see all the family. Mason did a great job meeting all of the family members, even if he didn't nap when he was supposed to! :) There were just too many people to meet.

Grandma and Grandpa Russell and their sons- Jim, Kirk, Brad and Dale.

We were able to get all eight of Grandma and Grandpa Russell's great-grandchildren together. I'm not sure we managed a picture where they were all looking at the camera, but we tried!

We also got a few pictures of the grandchildren as well! (They held still a little better.)

Grandpa Russell with Mason and Tannon.

Mason loves his cousin Savannah, he couldn't get enough of her!!

It was so wonderful to spend time with the Russell grandparents!

We drove up with Mason's Aunt Anna and Uncle Aaron. He was so excited to see their faces in the backseat with him that he baby talked to them most of the trip home. He's only 4 months old and already has a lot to say.

We had a lot of fun seeing everyone and showing off our cute boy.

And finally, (FINALLY!) he went to sleep.

Seattle Adventure

The three of us flew to Seattle for the weekend to visit our wonderful friends and go to the Sounders vs. Real soccer game.

Mason did great on the airplane, everyone gave us the stink eye when we were the last ones to run onto the airplane carrying a baby, but he slept for most of both flights. When he wasn't sleeping he was smiling at the people behind us through the seats.

We stayed with our friends Matt and Kimmy, who have a six year old son Isaac, who Mason was enthralled with the entire trip.

The game was also fun, although Real did not play very well and we lost 4-0. The three of us wore our Real gear but sat in a section of Sounders fans so we had a few taunts, but most people were very nice!

Even though the game did not end well, we had a great weekend and we were so happy to see our friends and spend a weekend in beautiful Seattle.
