It's almost spring!

It's been 70 degrees all week and our bees are so happy. Our hive has grown quite a bit because of the warm winter, and it's so healthy and full of bees that we are going to split the hive soon. We'll buy another hive and put it in a new location in our yard, then move some of the frames over to the new hive and purchase a new queen. This keeps the hives healthy, if they get too big then the whole hive will swarm. We also plan on purchasing another hive in May and keeping it on one of my doctors' property. We should have plenty of honey in the fall!

Mason and I got to have a visit with Grandma Pam, Aaron, Anna and Aubree this weekend. Mason had a great time crawling all over the floor with all of them and playing with his birthday gift from Anna and Aaron and his Easter gift from Oma and Boompa. Thank you so much everyone!
